Roquan Smith and the Baltimore Ravens have reportedly agreed to a lucrative new contract that will make the 25-year-old Georgia product the highest-paid linebacker in NFL history.
According to NFL Network Ian RapportSmith and the Ravens agreed to a five-year, $100 million contract with $60 million in total guarantees.
The reported deal comes days before the Ravens’ wild-card round matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals, who beat Baltimore in an AFC North meeting on Sunday.

Recruited by the Bears in 2018, Smith starred in Chicago but was unable to reach a long-term deal with the franchise before the 2022 season.
Chicago ultimately traded him to Baltimore in October for a second-round pick and a 2023 fifth-round pick.
AJ Klein was also included in the deal, moving from the Ravens to the Bears, who ultimately released the veteran linebacker.
Smith has made a strong impact in Baltimore, recording two sacks and seven tackles for loss in his nine games there thus far.
Smith, who recorded 169 combined tackles for Chicago and Baltimore this year, also received first-time Pro Bowl honors.
After losing 27-16 to the Bengals last weekend, the Ravens will return to Paycor Stadium for the wild-card round of the playoffs on Sunday.
Ravens spokespersons did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s request for confirmation. Smith does not currently have a certified agent on the NFLPA roster.
