Roman Kemp reveals bitter feud with a James Bond star who ‘nearly made him cry’ after EXTREMELY rude meeting

Roman Kemp has opened up about a tense interview with a James Bond actor that almost brought him to tears.

The One Show presenter, 31, has interviewed some of the world’s biggest celebrities during his time on the BBC show and during his presenting gig on Capital FM – which he did for seven years.

In the Therapy Crouch podcast with Peter Crouch, the former Liverpool footballer asked who his best and worst interviewees had been.

Roman, whose father is Spandau ballet singer Martin Kemp, revealed the awkward encounter: ‘One person almost made me cry. I was only young and it was for James Bond.”

Roman squeaked out the Bond star’s name and confirmed it wasn’t Daniel Craig, but then said the actor was just as intimidating off-screen as he was on-screen.

Speaking on the Therapy Crouch podcast with Peter Crouch, the former Liverpool footballer asked who his best and worst interviewees had been and was shocked to hear the answer

He shared, “He’s like that in real life and I sat there and I asked him this question, and it wasn’t even a bad question, and then he sat and thought.”

Roman then talked about how the actor took control of the interview in an unexpected way.

With an impression of a German-Austrian accent, Roman said, “He just turned to me and said, ‘For the rest of this interview, I’ll be asking myself the questions I think I should be asked.’

The TV star added that he was so shocked by what had happened that he was left in stunned silence.

Fans quickly took to the comments section below the TikTok video to speculate who the actor could be.

The British Spy films have seen many famous actors appear on screen over the years, including Sean Connery who played the original James Bond, starring as Dr. No (1962), Goldfinger (1964) and several other classics.

Impressing a German-Austrian accent, Roman told Peter how the actor took control of the interview in an unexpected way, silencing the TV presenter.

Roger Moore was known for his lighter, charming portrayal of Bond in films such as The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) and Moonraker (1979).

While Daniel Craig played a grittier, more modern Bond in Casino Royale (2006), Skyfall (2012) and No Time to Die (2021).

Javier Bardem played the memorable villain Raoul Silva in Skyfall (2012) and Christoph Waltz played Blofeld, Bond’s nemesis, in Specter (2015) and No Time to Die (2021).
