Roman Kemp mocked Ed Balls about setting him up with Love Island’s Paige Thorne after the former MP asked him about the reality star twice on Good Morning Britain.
Appearing on the show live on Friday morning, radio host Capital Roman, 29, was promoting the new Get Britain Singing show, which will air on Christmas Eve, which he hosts.
British television stars, including the cast of this year’s Love Island, take the stage to perform festive hits before a panel of judges, and Ed Balls, 55, seemed to take a particular interest in the singing skills of the Former Love Island member Paige Thorne, 25.
Opening the discussion on the new show, Ed introduced Roman to talk about the Emmerdale cast singing Shakin’ Stevens Merry Christmas Everyone.
They sang their hearts out to judges Wil.I.Am, Alesha Dixon, Adam Lambert and Jason Manford.

Roman says, ‘Oh well, I don’t want to say who’s in and who’s not, but trust me, you don’t want to miss the Love Island gang this year.
Ed adds, “I’m sure I read that Paige was in it,” co-host Ranveer Singh asks Ed, “Are you a huge Paige fan?” and exclaims, ‘Big Paige fan.
