Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have clawed their way back into playoff contention after a 4-8 start, and the Green Bay quarterback has credited “rally power” for the significant turnaround.
Green Bay looked all but out of the postseason after a Week 12 loss to the Eagles, but the defense has tightened over the past four games as the Packers have revived their season.
And the eclectic Rodgers believes off-field influences are to thank for the team’s upturn in form.

“I believe in the power of demonstration and I believe in momentum and I really believe in strength of mind,” he said after last weekend’s 41-17 win over the Vikings.
And when you start to believe in something strongly, miraculous things can happen.
Manifestation can be defined as having aspirational thoughts in the hope of making them come true in real life.
Whether it’s a job, a relationship, or, in Rodgers’ case, a winning streak, the idea is that belief in one’s goal, combined with proactive steps toward it, will make it come true.

While it’s unclear what kind of steps Rodgers took to try to turn around the team’s fortunes, the team is now on the brink of the playoffs with a win-and-enter matchup against the Lions on Sunday.
“I was resigned to some of those realities being possible,” Rodgers said of the possibility of the team missing the playoffs.
‘And when I took my mind there, I had peace about it. I had a peace about all of that. Regardless of what was supposed to happen, I surrendered to that reality, also with the resolute mindset that we could still get back to this thing.
Rodgers, who has already thrown his most interceptions in a season since 2010, has also spoken publicly about his past ayahuasca use, and the apparent positive effects on his game.
Ayahuasca is a South American psychoactive concoction used in shamanic spiritual medicine.
Hallucinogenic South American tea is touted as an alternative treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and depression, and the psychedelic is considered by shamans to be a “wisdom” plant that allows entry into the spirit world.
“I took ayahuasca in 2020 and won two MVPs,” Rodgers told Fox Sports in September. ‘I don’t think it’s a coincidence. I really don’t believe in coincidences.
I believe in science and synchronicities, and I really feel like what it allowed me to do is have a greater love for the game that I play, a greater love for my teammates, and perhaps had the best season of my career in 2020. and then followed this up last year with even greater integration of many of those lessons.’
