Rod Stewart is putting his VERY decadent Los Angeles mansion on the market for $70 million

Classic rock icon Rod Stewart is the latest celebrity to put his California estate up for sale, as his $70 million North Beverly Park property with wild amenities comes on the market.

Stewart, 78, had the property designed for him in the 1990s by famed Californian architect Richard Landry, after buying the land in 1991 for just over $12 million. The enclave has been home to the English star ever since.

The palatial estate includes patterned marble floors, elaborate wood paneling, crystal chandeliers, and intricate moldings.

Stewart lives there with his old wife Penny Lancaster and his two youngest sons, 18-year-old Alistair and 12-year-old Aiden.

The ‘Do you think I’m sexy?’ crooner bought the property during his second marriage to model Rachel Hunter.

The nine bedroom main house has a unique yellow exterior with double doors to welcome you inside.

The long private driveway features a motor field and a classic fountain.

The interior has a grand foyer with marble floors, Corinthian columns and ornate mirrors.

Perhaps the estate’s greatest features are for entertainment purposes – including a three-story guest house and two gyms, as well as a swimming pool.

There’s also a great room with a wet bar, fireplace, and French doors leading to an area that overlooks the entire setup.

It also comes with a grand piano, wood-paneled library, chandelier, and a formal dining room that can seat 20 people.

Listing images show huge closet space, perfect for the shopper who shares Stewart’s penchant for fashion, especially shoes.

Unique to the 33,000 square meter estate is a large football pitch, as Stewart is a notorious fan of Scottish giants Celtic and often played himself. He also got permission to build a field at his home in Essex in 2016.
