The billionaire creator of Rockstar Energy has listed a Utah property for sale for $50 million, less than a year after he officially acquired it for $39.4 million.
Russ Weiner, 53, founded the beverage company in 2001 but sold it to Pepsi in 2020 for more than $4 billion, according to Forbes.
This luxurious six-bedroom, 11-bathroom ski home may have been an impulse buy, though, as Weiner says he hasn’t slept a single night there, reportedly saying the stunning property was “better than new.” .
The 17,500-square-foot home sits on five acres of land at the base of the Monitor Bowl in the mountain resort of Park City, just east of Salt Lake City. It has become the most expensive residential property in Utah.

The house is also architecturally ambitious, using top-quality construction materials, including Italian steel windows, Croatian limestone, charred shou sugi ban cypress, and an all-copper roof. His library has walls lined with goatskin parchment, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Although the house was sold fully furnished, that didn’t stop Weiner from making improvements.
Since it was officially under his name in April 2022, Weiner said he did additional work, including installing a generator and updating the smart home systems. according to Global Mission.

Weiner said his plan was originally to keep the property, but “plans have changed.” He did not want to give more details about the reasons.
Like the bedrooms, the dining room has a separate terrace that can give the room an open-air feel.
Similarly, the 60-foot pool can be configured to be both indoors and outdoors.
At least one of the home’s 11 bathrooms has three sinks and sliding doors that lead to a walk-in closet and shower.
