Rochelle Humes reveals there’s still a HUGE amount of work to be done on her dream house after fans complained she’s ‘never home’ while she took her 12th holiday in a year

She was cruelly shamed over the holidays by trolls after taking her twelfth break in a year.

And after returning to Britain, Rochelle Humes has revealed there is still a huge amount of work to be done on her dream home, as she posted a photo of the property on Saturday.

The 35-year-old presenter, who recently made a bold new career move by launching a business-themed podcast, shared a photo of the winter sunset peeking through the walls of her home after she went for an evening walk.

It seemed that Rochelle and her husband Marvin were still many weeks away from completing their building work, which left the house little more than a skeleton of bricks and scaffolding.

Last month, Rochelle left fans questioning the size of her carbon footprint when she and husband Marvin posted about a family getaway in Dubai – their 12th holiday this year.

Taking to Instagram, Rochelle shared a gallery of photos from their sun-soaked trip over the festive period with their three children, daughters Alaia, 11, Valentina, seven, and four-year-old son Blake.

She wrote: ‘Our unconventional Christmas has begun.’

But fans were quick to respond with one wondering why moving into their new £5million home wasn’t enough to keep them in Britain?

They asked, ‘Do you go away every year? I thought you would do that after you built your beautiful house [sic] wanted to stay home.’

Rochelle was quick to respond to the fan by saying that once renovation work is completed on the property, a new build that they tore down and rebuilt, they may be more inclined to make the most of it.

She replied, “Once it’s done, maybe that will be a different story.”

In the series of photos, the JLS star was seen walking along the beach as Valentina and Blake ran alongside him.

Rochelle showed off her sensational figure in a black bikini which she wore under a white cropped open shirt and low-rise jeans as she posed for a mirror selfie.

The couple also enjoyed a luxury hunting day over the holidays as they posed for a sweet photo together in colorful patterned co-ord sets.

This is the twelfth trip of the year for Rochelle and Marvin and follows shortly after the holidays to Paris this month and in September.

They also went on holiday to Spain in August, the same month they visited Ibiza.

In July, the former Saturday singer and JLS star was in Lake Como, Italy and a month before that he was back in Paris.

In May, the couple jetted off again for another trip to France, this time to Cannes, which quickly followed a holiday in the Maldives just a month earlier.

In March they were in Miami, Florida, and in February they posted photos from Dubai.

As they entered their 2024, Marvin and Rochelle were once again in the Maldives.

Last year the couple revealed they were building their ‘forever home’ after moving from their £3.3million family home in north London.

Rochelle shared the news on Instagram, admitting it came completely “out of the blue” but that she was “so excited.”

The TV presenter told how the couple received an unexpected offer on their home and then found a plot in an area they have ‘always loved’.

Rochelle admitted she was “crazy” and said the family will be living in a rental for the next two years, joking that she and Marvin are “definitely a little gypsy at heart.”

She explained what was going on and said: ‘We’re moving. Can you believe? Actually, I must be crazy. And I move in every sense of the word.

“So, first of all, we were in a position with the house where we got an offer on our house. Anyway, crazy.

“It happened out of nowhere, but we found a plot in a place we’ve always loved so much.”

She then revealed that she and Marvin were building their own property and looked to Grand Designs for inspiration.

Rochelle continued, “So we’re going to build a house. I’ve never built a house before.

“I’m so excited, but we’re now in an 18-month to two-year lease. I think probably another two years… plus, while we hopefully build the forever home.

‘We love moving. It has become our favorite pastime. I’m not sure why, how or what, but we’re definitely a little gypsy at heart. I love taking on a new adventure.’

Rochelle said the new home won’t be far from their former property, explaining: ‘We’re in the same kind of area, so we’re not far.

‘The children stay at the same school, so that’s good. We promised each other that this would be our forever home.

“We’ve never done this before and I’m so happy and excited about it. So that’s the house. I also move offices.

‘I don’t know how everything happened at once, but at the end of this week we will officially get the keys and everything will be ready. New chapter coming!’
