Rochelle Humes explains why she is not in Australia to support husband Marvin as she begs I’m A Celebrity fans to vote to save him: ‘I really don’t want him on that bridge lonely’

Rochelle Humes has explained why she hasn't landed in Australia yet like the other I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! families of campmates.

The presenter, 34, supported her husband Marvin Humes, 38, during his time in the jungle.

But when the celebrity loved ones landed in Brisbane this week, Rochelle wasn't there.

On Saturday evening, she explained via her Instagram Stories that she was going Down Under, but had to postpone her trip to fit into her work schedule.

Addressing her followers, she first revealed that she had taken her and Marvin's three children, Alaia-Mai, 10, Valentina, six, and Blake, two, to Lapland, UK.

Rochelle sat in a towel turban and matching white robe as she applied her skincare while telling her viewers that the vote to save the campmates from elimination had opened.

She said, “Right, so I took the kids to Lapland, UK tonight. It was the cutest thing ever. But I'm freezing, my bones are cold. But it was magical and the kids had the best time ever.

“I'm super late catching up on the jungle though, which isn't my thing. And I don't know how to do it this way. So I'm literally reviewing everything quickly now.

'I feel really uncomfortable when I look at the phone and it's nine o'clock and I'm still a long way from being home.

“But I just wanted to say that there can be a vote to save Marv. Well, to save everyone.'

She continued, “I know he's having fun. Of course I really want to see him, that goes without saying. And I could use a hand!

“But I also really want him to stay there because he is now committed to this jungle experience. So I really want to make sure that he gets the most out of it and, you know, really stays there as long as possible.

“But the predicament I'm facing is that I think all the families ended up on Tuesday this week.

Rochelle then made a public plea, asking the public to vote to keep Marvin in the jungle so she could get to Australia in time for his departure.

“Obviously I've got the kids and I've got work and I've been trying to juggle everything and make sure I do the Christmas stuff before I go because they're at school.

'So my mother is coming to live here for a week. And then I'll stay with Marv until he's done. Like when he leaves the jungle, they leave at certain times, so I go with him and meet the kids.”

She said: 'My predicament is that I really don't want him to walk onto the bridge in front of anyone.

'Because that would mean that I really let him down and I'm really trying to get everything done, but I really don't want him to be lonely on that bridge.

“So this is my question: please vote for him. So that gives me my working day on Monday and then I can immediately go on the flight, 24 hours and then I'm there.

'I mean, of course, that I don't want him to come out either, but if he does, he has me there. So that's the plan.

'My predicament is that I would have loved to spend a weekend at the Versace Hotel because it looks bloody incredible. I have to work and yes, I just want to be there on time for my son.

“So please vote for him. Please keep him inside. Please don't leave him alone on the bridge. The thought of that is just no.”
