We are all very different [copying with emotions]. I have four children, it was my daughter who lost her daughter. I want to talk about her all the time, but other people don’t so much.

“She’s a teacher, she’s gone back to work. She’s remarkably strong, but she’s clearly broken. We’re all in pieces.”

As the camera panned to Rochelle crying, she said, “Sorry, gosh.”

Deidre told the caller, “We’re all really feeling this way. The death of a child is so sad. It’s so, so hard.”

Last year, Harry, better known as Hazza, appeared on the ITV show to talk about his fundraising efforts for Young Lives vs Cancer, after he was recently diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer.

The schoolboy is currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy and is due to undergo surgery next week. His father Andy explained that he was particularly concerned about losing his hair during the treatment.

In a show of solidarity, Harry’s closest friends have shaved their heads to match their pal. They told This Morning: “We wanted to do this so Harry wouldn’t be alone.”

Mother-of-three Rochelle was in tears as Harry’s friends joined him in the studio, telling the boys: ‘Oh my god, you’re bringing tears to my eyes.’

Rochelle tearfully told them, “I’m sorry, it’s just a beautiful story about good friends and we can learn so much from it.”

Viewers at home also reacted emotionally. One of them posted the following message on X, formerly known as Twitter:

”He will never be alone.” And whoever is cutting onions better stop right now.”

“Harry and his friends made me emotional,” agreed another, while yet another wrote that “the tears are flowing.”
