Model Robyn Lawley ‘massively rolled her eyes’ when she found out the Victoria’s Secret show was coming back: ‘I was furious’
Robyn Lawley has been outspoken about her dislike of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
And the Australian model was disappointed to learn that the runway show is making a comeback.
“I rolled my eyes massively,” says the 33-year-old in this week’s edition of Stellar Magazine.
‘I thought, why didn’t they include the curve [models] in the 2018 program? It was as if they were thinner again. [models]. He was furious.’
She continued: ‘I met girls who were going through [castings for the show], personal friends who were starving; He knew the situation on an internal level. I was getting more angry.

Robyn celebrated the cancellation of the 2019 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show after campaigning against the brand.
The mother-of-one launched a global campaign to cancel the show in 2018, after Victoria’s Secret did not include plus-size models on its shows.
“I guess they didn’t use much diversity on their runway,” Robyn wrote on Instagram at the time.
‘I thought, why didn’t they include the curve [models] in the 2018 program? It was as if they were thinner again. [models]. She was furious,’ she said. The show is shown in 2018.
The beauty thanked fans who took the time to sign a petition to cancel the show and fashion rights activist Model Alliance for their support.
Robyn, a former Sports Illustrated model, repeatedly spoke out against the show.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, he said: ‘All my friends who were doing that show were starving.
They didn’t eat and exercised four to five hours a day and are generally not exercisers. I know it inside out and it’s complete nonsense.
Robyn rose to fame after posing in the June 2011 issue of Vogue Italia and is now best known for her work with Sports Illustrated, after becoming the first plus-size model to appear in Vogue’s swimsuit issue. the magazine in 2015.

It comes after it was revealed that the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is scheduled to return in 2023.
The news was first reported by Retail Dive following the company’s fourth-quarter 2022 earnings last month.
“We will continue to rely on marketing spend to invest in the business, both at the top of the funnel and to support the new version of our fashion show, which will take place later this year,” revealed the CFO. Officer Timothy Johnson.
A corporate spokesperson told People that the company is committed to championing women and is “always innovating and devising in all spheres of the business to continue to put our customer at the center of everything we do.”
The annual fashion show was a glamorous tradition dating back to 1995.
