The Secret Service announced this in a statement Newsweek that Trump’s security measures would be stepped up in the wake of his Nov. 5 victory.
While Trump already received increased security protection after surviving two assassination attempts during the campaign, that will increase again between now and his inauguration.

Secret Service Communications Director Anthony Guglielmi told the publication: “The President-elect has received increased Secret Service protection and this level of security will be maintained moving forward.
“While we cannot share specific details to ensure the integrity of our activities, family members and executive staff of the President-elect may also receive protection under federal law.”
He specifically noted that security measures are being expanded in Palm Beach County, Florida, where Mar-a-Lago is located.
“Enhanced security measures around Palm Beach County, Florida and New York City are also being coordinated. “The Secret Service is committed to working with local partners in these cities to keep the community informed of any impacts to the public,” he said.
