TIME FORM
1:50 p.m. York
NOSTRUM has been undeniably disappointing at Goodwood, but with the likelihood of faster conditions here he will have another chance to build on his impressive returns at the Newmarket. El Drama made an excellent start for its new yard in Haydock a fortnight ago and considers it the biggest threat.
2:25 p.m. York
It’s hard not to be positive about the majority in this typically competitive three-year handicap, narrowly voting for ALHAMBRA PALACE. He has impressed with landing each of his last two starts and can make a bold bid from the foot of the weights for the stable that has landed this race in two of the past four seasons. Goodwood star True Legend, the stablemate of the selection Lordship and Vaguely Royal lead the hazards.
3:00 p.m. York
The very likeable KINROSS resumed victory in the Lennox under Frankie Dettori earlier this month and can take this award for the second year in a row. Sacred failed by just a neck during the Queen Elizabeth II anniversary at Royal Ascot and is in great danger back above 7f. Isaac Shelby, who chased home the selection at Goodwood, appears to be the choice of the three-year-olds.
3:35 p.m. York
The 1¾ yard handicap at Glorious Goodwood could be the key piece of form here, taking the progressive SWEET WILLIAM to assert his superiority over Adjuvant despite worse 4-pound terms. Jackfinbar and the very consistent HMS President complete the shortlist.
4:10 p.m. York
SUMMERGHAND signaled he’s ready to go back in as he narrowly failed to get up at the Great St Wilfrid a week ago and can follow up on his success here 12 months ago with his usual visor now refitted after being at Ripon stayed. Albasheer could emerge as the biggest threat.
