Roberto Firmino’s dentist reveals the Brazilian ‘requested “beyond grade one” white teeth’
Roberto Firmino’s dentist has revealed he had to create a ‘super white colour’ for the Liverpool striker, after once asking for ‘more than one’ white teeth.
After scoring 109 goals in 360 appearances in all competitions for the Reds, the Brazilian striker’s contract expires in June and it looks set to leave Anfield this summer along with several other big names.
Mail Sport understand that both Barcelona and Real Madrid are considering a move for the 31-year-old after he told Jürgen Klopp in March that he did not want to re-sign with the club.
And with his exit fast approaching, Liverpool fans saw the striker serenaded after the Reds swept aside Leicester 3-0 on Monday night, singing his ‘Si Senior’ chant in a heartwarming post-match moment.
Several of his teammates have also paid tribute to the striker for his brilliant personality and superb football skills, with the Athletic sharing several stories from his peers, as well as an interesting anecdote from his dentist.

Liverpool-based dentist Dr. Robbie Hughes, who has had a number of teammates from Firmino and manager Jurgen Klopp in the past, remembers the first time he met the Brazilian striker in 2016.
“He was introduced to me by Lucas Leiva, alongside Philippe Coutinho,” Hughes told the Athletic,
“Bobby was looking for a smile makeover and we chose to do some porcelain veneers for him.
“He wanted them very white, more than (class) one on the map, so we created a super white color for him.
“Not many people had asked for those before, but since Bobby had them done, patients of mine have come in over the years asking for ‘the Bobby dazzlers.’
Firmino is regarded among fans as a legend of the club and a player who has scored some pretty significant goals for Liveprool, including perhaps that extra-time winner that gave Liverpool the Club World Cup victory in December 2019.
His hat-trick against Arsenal in December 2018 after Liverpool went down also goes down as one of his finest moments in a red shirt, with the Brazilian scoring a ‘no look’ goal before running past several Arsenal defenders to to score his second.
His captain, Jordan Henderson, also thanked him before praising him for his positive mindset and contagious energy.
“Bobby’s contribution to Liverpool has been incredible and he has been instrumental in everything we have achieved together,” said the Liverpool captain.
“He’s such a positive person and always smiling, which gives a lot of energy to the team.”
