Robert Kennedy Jr.’s defection from the Democratic party completed as he joins Donald Trump at Arizona rally

Robert Kennedy Jr. pledged his full commitment to Donald Trump to a jubilant crowd of admirers in Arizona on Friday night, making his switch from the Democratic Party final.

The nephew of Democratic President John F. Kennedy took the stage with the former president to loud cheers.

Trump’s campaign had previously announced that a “special guest” would attend the rally. The mysterious attraction drew thousands to the nearly 20,000-capacity Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

Earlier in the day in Phoenix, Kennedy urged supporters in 10 swing states to support Republican candidate Donald Trump, but said his name would remain on ballots in traditionally red or blue states.

“Tonight I’m very pleased to welcome a man who has been an incredible champion,” Trump said of Kennedy. “We’re both in this to do what’s right for the country.”

“Bobby! Booby! Bobby!” the crowd cheered.

“I don’t think I’ve ever introduced anyone who got as much applause as he did,” Trump said, still in control of the crowd.

He then launched a number of new policy proposals with Kennedy in mind.

“In Bobby’s honor… I will create a new independent commission on attempted assassinations,” said Trump, who himself survived an assassination attempt.

The panel would also investigate the July 13 shooting Trump committed in Butler, Pennsylvania.

“And we will release all documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.”

“Never before have so many people asked me, ‘Please, sir, make the Kennedy assassination documents public. And we’re going to do it,'” he said.

The former president subsequently praised the Kennedy heir for his environmental efforts and said he would appoint the independent candidate to an environmental research panel that would examine the effects of climate change.

Then he turned the microphone around.

Kennedy began talking about the things he and the former president both believe in.

“We’re spending billions in Ukraine and we could use that money here in the United States,” Kennedy said. “Don’t you want a president who will get us out of wars?”

He then spoke about censorship, something he said has been a major theme in his campaign as a third-party candidate, calling it “the first step toward totalitarianism.”

The former Democrat also talked about making American food less processed and unhealthy.

“President Trump is going to make America healthy again!” Kennedy concluded his speech.

“Wow,” Trump said as he regained control of the stage. He explained that the two had been friends for a long time.

He also introduced a new policy after seeing protesters burning American flags during protests in Chicago marking the Democratic National Convention.

“They should make it illegal to burn the American flag,” Trump said, before proposing a new law.

“If you burn the American flag, you go to jail for a year,” he said to cheers.

The former president also launched a fierce attack on Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign, criticizing her border policies.

“325,000 migrant children are missing, they’re gone,” he said. “She allowed them to be smuggled into this country.”

“They will never see their home or their parents again,” he said.

‘Kamala has freed thousands of Venezuelan gang members.’

“She supports deadly sanctuary cities,” he continued of Biden and Harris’ immigration policies.

‘I look forward to the debate.’
