Robert Irwin would ‘move to Perth’ to live with his girlfriend Rorie Buckey’s family and leave Australia Zoo behind as the couple’s relationship flares up
According to a new report, Robert Irwin is moving to Perth to live with his girlfriend Rorie Buckey.
The wildlife star, 19, wants to explore his relationship with Rorie, also 19, but she currently lives in Perth as she completes her studies, while he continues to work at his family’s world-famous Australia Zoo.
The pair are said to find long distances and travel between Western Australia and Queensland ‘hellish’.
“It really hurts,” a source told me women’s Day.
“The moment they really want to explore their relationship, they have a hell of a distance between them,” she added.

“Rorie is stuck in Perth with her studies, so the logical solution is for Robert to move there – at least for a while – and her parents are adamant that he stays with them.”
Rorie’s family has made Robert more than welcome, and her parents are apparently thrilled that the pair are the perfect match.
“They are a very tight-knit group and if Robert is willing to make the sacrifice to move to the big city for their daughter, they will do what they can to make it work,” the source said.
While mom Terri is reportedly concerned that the pair are moving “too fast,” she’s reportedly open to the idea.

According to the magazine, Terri knows Robert is in “good hands” and wants to get to know Rorie’s parents if her son chooses to move to Western Australia.
The family matriarch has invited the Buckeys to Australia Zoo for Christmas to spend time with himself, Bindi and Chandler Powell.

Robert looked dashing in a black suit with tuxedo-style lapels as he wrapped his arm around his lover and posed for photographers.
Girlfriend Rorie looked sensational in asymmetrical black maxi dress with one sleeve and one shoulder details.
At one point, Robert put his arms tenderly around Rorie as they seemed to share a joke and giggled.
Their outing comes after news that Robert is reportedly planning to pop the question to Rorie after several months of dating.

According to New Idea magazine, protective mom Terri worries that her lovesick son and his lovesick girlfriend will run down the aisle too soon.
“Terri feels like Robert is moving way too fast,” a source told the publication.
“Rorie is a sweetheart and it’s easy to see why he’s definitely in love, but Terri knows the stakes are high,” they added.
The publication also claimed that Robert is a “romantic” who hopes to match his mother’s quick engagement to her late husband Steve after only eight months of dating in 1992.
