Robert Irwin stuns his co-stars as he makes shock confession about his ‘first time’ on The Project

Robert Irwin has admitted that he is not really a coffee drinker and only recently had his “first cup.”

The 20-year-old presented the program The Sunday Project this weekend with others and made the confession during a conversation about the caffeinated drink.

“I recently tasted my first cup of coffee. It was not to my taste at all,” Robert said, to the surprise of his fellow players.

During a conversation with singer Budjerah, who also revealed that his very first cup of coffee was not tasty, Robert admitted that he would like to try the popular drink again.

“I feel like we need to meet again for a cup of coffee, I need to convert myself to the world of coffee,” said Robert.

The Project host Rachel Corbett joked at the time that the two boys could bond by having a “cup of warm milk” together.

Robert captured his very first cup of coffee in a video on social media last year.

The conservationist posted a clip on Instagram of himself making coffee during his shift at the Crikey Café at Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast.

Irwin prepared a cup of the popular drink, surprising his fans with a surprising confession.

“To give you some context, I’ve never had coffee before. I’ve made it and this is really nerve-wracking,” he begins.

Robert seemed nervous as he went to take his first sip of the drink.

“This is my first time drinking coffee… I love it,” he says hesitantly, pulling a shocked face.

Many of Robert’s fans were immediately enthusiastic about the hilarious images.

“I’m more excited to make the foam than to feed the crocodiles,” one fan joked in the comments.

Meanwhile, another added: ‘Lol that “I love it” when his face clearly says the opposite.’

Robert has just returned from a luxurious week-long trip to Singapore with his beloved family, including his sister Bindi Irwin.

The Irwin siblings took to Instagram to share insights into their journey with their 60-year-old mother Terri, who is also a conservationist.

The family was joined for the trip by Bindi’s husband Chandler Powell, their two-year-old daughter Grace, and Chandler’s parents Chris and Shannan Powell.
