Robert Irwin has proven himself to be a chip off the old block.
The star, 19, the son of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, shared a clip of himself demonstrating his surfing skills on TikTok.
Robert demonstrated his athletic prowess on the surfboard while tearing up the waves on a beach close to his home.
Fans of Steve will remember that the Crocodile Hunter loved to surf, with footage often included in his Animal Planet documentaries.
In an old Animal Planet documentary about him surfing in Indonesia, Steve said, “I’m Steve Irwin and I’ve been surfing since I was a very little boy with my dad.”

Robert seemed to inherit his father’s love of surfing in the clip shared on TikTok on Wednesday, albeit in a more humorous way.
Robert showed a close-up of himself in a wetsuit riding a surfboard, giving the impression of feeling cool.
“What it feels like to surf,” he wrote.

He then shared a shot of him being filmed from a distance on an empty beach.
“What it looks like,” he wrote.

The surf clip comes after Robert made his red carpet debut with girlfriend Rorie Buckey on Monday at the Sydney premiere of Mission Impossible.
Robert looked dashing in a black suit with tuxedo-style lapels as he wrapped his arm around his lover and posed for photographers.
The natural warrior paired the suit with a crisp black shirt, opening at the collar, and black dress shoes.
Elsewhere, girlfriend Rorie, 18, looked sensational in an asymmetrical black maxi dress with one-sleeve, one-shoulder detailing.

Their outing comes after news that Robert is reportedly planning to pop the question to Rorie Buckey after several months of dating
According to New Idea magazine, protective mom Terri worries that her smitten son, 19, and his smitten girlfriend, 18, will run down the aisle too soon.
“Terri feels like Robert is moving way too fast,” a source told the publication.

“Rorie is a sweetheart and it’s easy to see why he’s absolutely in love, but Terri knows the stakes are high,” they added.
The publication also claimed that Robert is a “romantic” who hopes to match his mother’s quick engagement to her late husband Steve after only eight months of dating in 1992.
Robert and Rorie, the niece of legendary Australian actor Heath Ledger, are currently in a long-distance relationship, with Robert at Australia Zoo in Queensland while Rorie is in Perth.
