Robert Irwin has given fans a rare glimpse into his private life by revealing what his famous family really looks like behind closed doors.
The 20-year-old conservationist admitted that Mentally like everyone else podcast, he leads an “undramatic and boring” life with his mother Terri, sister Bindi, brother-in-law Chandler Powell and niece Grace Warrior.
“As public as it is, I can still live a very nice and authentic existence,” he said.
“In terms of family dynamics, we’re the most undramatically boring people in the world, which is great. What we do is absolutely insane.”
“You jump on crocodiles, you save wildlife, you do this, you do that. But as far as the Irwin family dynamic goes, we’re just vanilla ice cream, we’re so boring.”
Robert explained that he has a “very close-knit family group” and that there is never any “drama.”
He added: ‘There’s nothing wrong with a boring family dynamic. In fact, that’s what you’re aiming for.’
Robert made this confession after sharing some exciting news with his fans and followers on Instagram last week.

The young conservationist posted a photo of himself feeding a huge crocodile, sending adrenaline rushing through his body, accompanied by an exciting announcement.
The photo shows Robert in full action, as he throws a piece of meat into the reptile’s wide-open mouth at Australia Zoo’s famous Crocoseum.
‘I’m taking my whole family to Australia Zoo this school holiday to feed our beautiful crocodiles in the Crocoseum – now until 7th July!’ he wrote, before adding: ‘It’s going to be AMAZING… See you there!!!’
The news caused a stir among nature lovers and fans of the Irwin family.

Robert previously made fans do a double take after sharing a video of himself feeding a crocodile while recreating an iconic photo of his father from 2004.
In the video, Robert lures the giant crocodile with food, then jumps back as the croc charges at him, narrowly missing his arm.
The wildlife photographer wore his iconic Australia Zoo uniform and held a microphone.
Fans couldn’t believe how much the teenager looked like his late father Steve in the clip.
This comes after Robert previously made fans do a double take after sharing a video of himself feeding a crocodile while recreating an iconic photo of his father from 2004
“You look so much like your dad!!! Love feeding those crocodiles,” someone commented on the video.
Another wrote: ‘Man. I totally see your dad in this story!’
Meanwhile, a third echoed: ‘So much like your father. I was a huge fan of his and his passion for these beautiful creatures.’
Steve died in September 2006 at the age of 44 after being stabbed in the chest by a stingray while filming a nature documentary at Batt Reef, Queensland.
