Robert Irwin feeds an alligator at Australia Zoo as his sister Bindi’s toddler Grace Warrior watches

Robert Irwin feeds an alligator as his sister Bindi’s toddler Grace Warrior, 2, watches – amid reports that matriarch Terri is arguing with her daughter over the little one’s future at Australia Zoo

Robert Irwin showed his two-year-old niece Grace Warrior the ropes at Australia Zoo on Sunday.

The little one watched him feed ‘Daisy the alligator’.

In a video posted to Instagram, Grace’s doting mother Bindi held the curious boy while 19-year-old Robert jumped into the reptile enclosure to tooth-feed the beast.

Grace’s father Chandler Powell lent Robert a hand as his wife, 24, and toddler stood a safe distance behind the gate.

“We’re going to watch Uncle Robert and Dada feed the gators,” Bindi was heard to say as Grace began to count aloud and wiggle her fingers.

“Grace is counting the gators,” Robert explained as he jumped over the fence.

He then came face to face with Daisy, showing her “blunt” teeth and “strong” jaws while feeding her some meat.

‘They’re really sweet. My father [Steve Irwin] called them frogs with shark teeth, because that’s pretty much what they are,” he explained.

After the large reptile was satisfied with her meal, Robert turned the camera back on his sister and niece.

“Grace, how about it?” he asked her, to which she replied simply, “Love you, Daisy.”

Meanwhile, sources close to the Irwin family are said to have told women’s Day Bindi and her mother Terri disagree over Grace’s future at Australia Zoo.

“Bindi is a little bit triggered by it. She is publicly supportive of her, but behind closed doors she feels uncomfortable and doesn’t want her daughter to be in the spotlight at such a young age,” the publication said.

“She had to set some new boundaries with her mom regarding Grace. She won’t get absorbed in the family business like Bindi did before Grace even knew how to sign her name.’

They further claimed that Bindi began to wonder what her life would have been like if she hadn’t grown up on television with a famous father.

She’s since put her foot down and decided to keep Grace out of the spotlight so she can “give her little girl a chance at her own life.”

According to the insider, Bindi, who was about the same age as her daughter when she went public, told Terri “it’s going to be different this time.”
