Robert Irwin looked every bit the loving son as he stepped out with his mother Terri in Brisbane on Thursday.
The pair attended the premiere of Cirque du Soleil’s new show Luiza and seemed delighted to be in each other’s company during the glittering evening.
Robert, the co-host of I’m A Celebrity… Australia!, looked dapper in a plain white T-shirt under a light gray sports coat and matching trousers.
The 21-year-old conservationist, who has a close bond with his family, completed his outfit with a pair of plain white sneakers.
Meanwhile, his mum Terri, 60, looked effortlessly stylish in a flowing red and black patterned dress for a night out.
Terri – who shares Robert and daughter Bindi, 26, with the late Steve Irwin – also wore a pair of black heels and opted to let her long locks down for the occasion.
A source who attended the event told Ny Breaking Australia that the celebrity couple’s arrival caused quite a stir as fans loved seeing them together.
“The event was buzzing as Teri Irwin and Robert Irwin hit the red carpet,” the source revealed.
“You knew someone exciting had arrived by the way people stopped talking and started yawning.”

Before taking them off at the photo wall, the source also said the safety-conscious couple arrived at the event wearing matching black and white face masks.
‘They were the only ones wearing the medical masks – it almost made them more noticeable. It was certainly not to hide their identities,” the source said.
‘We had to do a double take before we realized it was Terri. A lot of people thought that. They are joined at the hip.”
The source added that the couple received royal treatment and were escorted into the venue by security guards, who sat with them during the performance.
“It’s no wonder Americans speak of the Irwins as Australia’s own royal family,” they said. “They act like Prince William and Princess Kate.”

Robert also invited Bindi and his two-year-old niece Grace Warrior – who shares his sister with Chandler Powell – to film with him.
He was recently forced to hit back at fans’ claims that his mother Terri was a “helicopter parent” and that it was “creepy” that they spent so much time together.
Robert explained that he has an extremely close bond with his family after the loss of his famous father Steve Irwin.
