Robbie Williams reveals he and wife Ayda Field have secretly renewed their wedding vows after 14-years of marriage before sharing the downside of his new teeth in bizarre post

Robbie Williams has revealed that he and wife Ayda Field secretly renewed their wedding vows after 14 years of marriage.

The 50-year-old singer, who has four children with his wife of 45, posted a bizarre post on Instagram on Wednesday in which he also revealed the downsides of his new teeth.

At the bottom of his lengthy statement, in which he discussed everything from the Olympics to jet lag, Robbie said: ‘Oh, Ayda and I have renewed our vows.’

Before I continue adding: ‘I am very very very grateful. I am grateful now. I am not in the future, tired and stressed. I am grateful here and now’.

He also explained that his new, temporary teeth grinders, after years of ā€œabuseā€ of his natural teeth, had left him unable to continue his favorite activity.

Writing: ‘Ever since I can remember, I’ve bitten my nails. I love it. Biting my nails and then chewing. My new teeth have no nerve endings.’

“And my new teeth can’t bite into the nail. Without nerve endings, there’s no textural pleasure from my favorite calorie-free snack. So I guess that’s gone. *makes Eurgh face.”

The couple married in 2010 and are parents to Teddy (11), Charlie (9), Coco (6), Colette (5) and four-year-old Beau.

They were set to renew their vows next year after having to postpone their 2020 plans due to the COVID pandemic.

In February Ayda told Hello! She hoped that her mother Gwen, who was struggling with health problems, and the family’s 18-year-old dog Poupette would be there to join in the festivities.

“I think with my mother’s health and if Poupette can hold on for another year, we will renew a 15th anniversary. There are many family members and people who need to stay alive, but yes, let’s do it!”

She continued, “I’m grateful that the man I’m in love with is still the man I’m married to today, only better. That our families are there too ā€” you don’t realize how precious these moments are. We’ve had a truly remarkable run and that day was the beginning of it.”

The 2010 ceremony took place at their Ā£12million Beverly Hills home, with Robbie taking to the stage to sing a version of his own hit, Angels, for a handful of guests in attendance.

He also admitted that it was an unconventional ceremony, with no witness or guests being told they were going to a James Bond-themed party until just before the event started.

His last message read: Politeness, hail Keanu and peace be upon you. So when I asked you what things irritate you that don’t irritate everyone. One that came up a few times was writing ”So” at the beginning of something. Soz’.

“I’m on a plane, I’m going somewhere. As we left the house to travel to the airport, my thoughts were on the journey and the journey after the journey.”

He continued: ‘I literally have to travel the world in the next few days. Gigs, more gigs, flights, jet lag. This was on my mind as I walked past the many palm trees of LA. Fear of future fatigue. Fear of future fatigue and shows. Then I realised where I had come from and the glorious time that me, my family and friends had just had. And how normally I leave behind some kind of adventure that I never look back on with gratitude. In my head there is only future f***ry.’

‘So here we go, I spent time with my friends. My friends make me very happy. We all watched the Olympics together. The Olympics were incredibly healthy. I had some lovely baths and really enjoyed the me-time. I met new people that I really liked and my life was better because of those encounters.’

“I feel confident and I have a new vitality that I’ve been missing. I have a new smile. I have a new pink jacket. I played in the pool. I ate some junk and it was delicious junk. I wrote and recorded 2 new songs. One for the end titles of my movie. I played basketball with Teddy Charlie and Beau. Oh, Ayda and I renewed our vows”

Before I close: ‘I am very, very grateful. I am grateful now. I am not in the future, tired and stressed. I am grateful here and now. What are you grateful for? Write it down. Feel it. If you don’t feel like writing it down. Think it. Take it in.’

This happened after Robbie revealed his new teeth on his Instagram page on Friday after going to the dentist.

In the candid post, he admitted that he only came in for a consultation, but ended up coming home with a brand new, full set of teeth.

He told fans that the new teeth will remain in place until the individual teeth are placed in a month.

The former Take That star was delighted with the results, raving that he “loved” the look, despite being “surprised” that the transformation happened so quickly.

Joking about his old teeth, Robbie added: ‘Maybe some of you guys loved the old ones. They were f*****.

“They served me well, but I really abused them. Opened bottles with them. Espresso that discolored them. Smeared Coca-Cola on them. Didn’t clean them properly. Held them for three whole decades.”

Reflecting on the past, the star concluded: “We’ve been through a lot together. But now it’s time to move on. Goodbye my little nubby yellow friends.”
