Rob Marciano purchases $1.2m New York home in the suburbs after landing CBS job
Rob Marciano has reportedly purchased a $1.2 million home in the New York suburbs after landing a new job at CBS.
The 56-year-old was reportedly fired from his role on Good Morning America last year after being taken off air in 2022 due to alleged anger management issues.
In October 2024, it was revealed that he had found a new home at CBS and had been hired to join the network’s growing weather team.
According to The American sunRob bought his new suburban property in November and the 1,700-square-foot home features three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The house is considered a mansion as records show he paid a mansion tax of $12,010.
The publication claims the property has hardwood floors throughout and also has private beach access.
Rob’s new living room is said to have a fireplace, as well as “a large picture window overlooking the landscaped backyard and patio.”
He also has marble countertops in his new kitchen and his master suite has a luxurious walk-in closet and a modern bathroom with his and hers sinks.

Before purchasing his new home, Rob lived in a 2,000-square-foot apartment with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, reportedly paying $3,250 per month.
He moved into the apartment in 2021 following his divorce of 11 years from his wife, Eryn Woodburn.
The former couple sold their five-bedroom mansion in Rye, New York, on July 1, 2022, for $2.7 million.
Rob and estate agent Eryn, parents to their two children Madelynn, 12, and Mason, six, appear to be on good terms following their split and she was even pictured with him when he went house hunting last October.
Although Eryn was not listed as the agent for the home sale, her company represented Rob in the process.
Sources claimed that Rob faced anger management issues during his divorce from Eryn, and this could have been the cause of “some alarming events” that reportedly took place at GMA.
His firing followed an alleged pattern of incidents, including one in 2022 that led to him being temporarily removed from the morning show’s studio.
Rob was reportedly ‘banned’ from the morning show’s studio after making a colleague feel uncomfortable Page six.

After a month off the air, he was reassigned to ABC’s World News Tonight, which records from a different studio and reports from the field.
The father of two was initially suspended for a month, but GMA executive producer Simone Swink kept him banned from the studio indefinitely.
“It was determined that he had done something… that was inappropriate, but he was punished for it and they still wouldn’t let him return,” a source told the Post in 2023.
‘He made people feel uncomfortable. There was a period where there were some problems, some alarming events,” a second source claimed.
