Rob Lowe has given fans an update on what it’s been like near his home in Santa Barbara, California during the storm.
When at the Los Angeles premiere of his new Netflix movie Dog Gone on Wednesday he said Extra rain and floods have devastated the area.

Dog Gone premieres on Netflix on January 13.
The 58-year-old actor appeared in a stylish ensemble at the event, which was held at The Bay Theater in Pacific Palisades.
She also posed with co-stars Kimberly Williams-Paisley and Johnny Berchtold, along with their on-screen family dog, nicknamed Gonker, months after wishing her son Johnny a happy 27th birthday.
Lowe stepped out wearing a sleek black mohair sweater from Saint Laurent, which retails for $1,390. He also wore a gold chain peeking out from under his sweater as he posed with his co-stars.
The actor completed his look with black pants, shiny black dress shoes while accessorizing with a silver watch.
The new Lowe’s film is based on a true story, as told in Pauls Toutonghi’s 2016 book Dog Gone: A Lost Pet’s Extraordinary Journey and the Family Who Brought Him Home.
The book follows a father (Lowe) and son (Johnny Berchtold) who embark on a journey to find their lost dog and get it the medication it needs to survive.
The cast also includes Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Susan Gallagher, and Annabella Didion.

Lowe told Netflix’s Tudum last month: “I’m very proud of the movie. It’s just a total emotional ride that will definitely give you all the feels.’
Stephen Herek (Rock Star) directs from a screenplay by Nick Santora (Reacher), adapted from Toutonghi’s novel.
The film is scheduled to debut on the Netflix streaming service on Friday, January 13.
Lowe currently stars in the Fox series 9-1-1: Lone Star, a spin-off of 9-1-1 set in Austin, Texas.
He is also starring in an upcoming Netflix show called Unstable, which he co-created with his son John Owen Lowe.
The show follows a socially challenged son (John Owen Lowe) who is forced to work for his eccentric father’s (Rob Lowe) company.
