Rob Gronkowski says Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift would be the ‘number one Ken and Barbie in the NFL’ with the Chiefs star now reportedly dating the pop star
Rob Gronkowski is calling for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift to be America’s next power couple, claiming the pair would be the ‘number one Ken and Barbie in the NFL’ amid rumors the Chiefs are dating the pop star in the down low.
Kelce, who is the same age as Swift, 33, recently took to his podcast to tell his older brother Jason that he previously tried to get the “You Belong with Me” singer his song.
The two-time Super Bowl champion (LIV, LVII) attended Swift’s concert at the Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium earlier this month, ready with a master plan to ask her out after the live performance.
The eight-time Pro Bowler had his phone number written on his wristband so he could give it to Swift backstage once she finished her performance.
However, Swift didn’t want to meet anyone after her show and preferred to rest her singing after her 44-song performance, declining Kelce’s sly invitation.

Kelce and Swift have been romantically linked since the Chiefs star tried to give her his number at her concert in Kansas City last month
Speaking to FanDuel’s Kay Adams about reports that Swift rejected Kelce, ‘Gronk’ called on the pop artist to give the NFL star a chance.
“I think Travis is a very thoughtful guy,” the former Patriots and Bucs tight end said.
“And if they were to date, it would hands down be No. 1 Ken and Barbie in the NFL. There’s no doubt about that, so let’s hope it happens, that would be really cool if Travis and Taylor Swift are dating.
“Come on Taylor, let’s make it happen, let’s go!”
Kelce was in an on-again, off-again relationship with social media influencer Kayla Nicole for five years
Kelce’s older brother and Philadelphia Eagles star Jason – who lost to Travis in this year’s Super Bowl – poked fun at his sibling for getting knocked back by Swift.
He brought up the 12-time Grammy-winning artist’s roots in Pennsylvania and went on to say, “She’s probably not over the Super Bowl yet, she’s a big Eagles fan.” Maybe she just made something up and didn’t want to talk to you.”
Jason was referring to Philly’s 38-35 loss to Kansas City in the ‘Kelce-Bowl’ when both brothers faced off to spotlight the most-watched annual sporting event in American history.
Kelce dated social media influence Kayla Nicole before she was linked to a romance with Swift.
The former dated for five years until they split in May 2022.
Barstool Sports CEO David Portnoy recently made headlines when he commented on Swift’s rumored new relationship with Kelce, saying the NFLer “wouldn’t be my first choice” to date the pop superstar .
