Rob Gronkowski reveals why he would rank Travis Kelce over himself as he praises Chiefs star

Rob Gronkowski has shared a trait that Travis Kelce has about him, as the former Patriots tight end had nothing but positive things to say about his Chiefs colleague.

On Friday, the 35-year-old “Gronk” was approached by YouTuber Funny Marco at Fanatics Fest, where he was gathered with his former Patriots teammate and “brother” Tom Brady. He was asked an intriguing question that he probably wasn’t expecting.

“Last question: do you put Kelce above you?” Funny, Marco dared to ask.

“Oh man… For a long life, yeah,” Gronk replied.

“Right now?” Marco said jokingly, before the four-time Super Bowl champion replied, “Yeah. He’s still going… I’m not. I’m on the bench.”

The former Patriots tight end admitted that Travis Kelce had an edge over him in one area

Interestingly, Gronk and Kelce were both born in the same year, 1989, but were drafted three years apart.

Gronk played 11 seasons in the NFL for the Pats and Bucs, while Kelce is in his 12th year with the Chiefs.

Gronk also weighed in on his choice: Kelce or 49ers tight end George Kittle.

“I’m going with Kelce,” said the 2014 NFL Comeback Player of the Year.

“Because he’s accomplished more in the Super Bowl than Kittle. So it’s Kelce…”

Gronk and Kelce were both born in the same year, 1989, despite the former retiring in 2021

Kelce’s Chiefs have defeated Kittle’s 49ers twice in the Super Bowl, including in Las Vegas in February.

Despite this, both tight ends are close to the field.

They were spotted together at a party at a Nashville bar in June.
