Rita Ora’s husband Taika Waititi gets his first initial tattooed on his hand after his beloved display at the Grammy Awards pre-party.
New Zealand filmmaker Taika Waititi has shown his commitment to his new wife Rita Ora by tattooing the letter ‘R’ on her hand.
The 47-year-old director got the singer’s first initial done at a tattoo parlor in Los Angeles on Wednesday, then posted a black-and-white photo of the results on Instagram.
He joked in the caption that the ‘R’ actually stood for his favorite sport, rugby.

“I love rugby,” he wrote.
Despite its tongue-in-cheek caption, Taika’s followers knew the tattoo was for Rita.
‘Rugby Pray’, one fan quipped in the comments, while another simply wrote: ‘Rita’.

It comes after Taika and Rita put on a display of love at a pre-Grammy party in Los Angeles on Friday.
The Hot Right Now hitmaker stunned in a completely see-through dress that revealed her undergarments.
Meanwhile, her husband kept things casual in a sports jacket.
He joked that the ‘R’ actually stood for his favorite sport, rugby, but his followers knew the tattoo was for Rita. (The couple appear at the MTV Europe Music Awards on November 13, 2022)
The couple made their first public appearance since they confirmed their marriage in January.
Rita described her wedding as “perfect” and “a special day” while promoting her single You Only Love Me, which was released on January 27.
His next album is on the way, with a title yet to be revealed.
