Rita Ora says she feels ‘so welcome, loved and supported in Australia’ after spending time Down Under for The Voice – as she celebrates the release of her new album
Rita Ora has become a staple of Sydney’s social scene since joining The Voice Australia as a judge in 2021.
The British pop star, 32, is often photographed enjoying glitzy events around the city, and has quickly called it her second home, as she spends much of her year here filming for the singing competition.
She loves the country so much that she decided to launch her first album since 2018 in Sydney.
Speak against The Daily Telegraph at the launch of her You & I album this week, Rita said she has always felt so welcome by Australians.
“I’m very happy to be celebrating my album in Australia where I feel so welcomed, loved and supported,” she said.

The Hot Right Now hitmaker launched her new record Thursday night at an intimate event at the Angel Hotel’s J&M cocktail bar.
She arrived at the glamorous event with her Hollywood filmmaker husband Taika Waititi, 47.
The pair were all smiles as they entered the venue arm in arm looking every inch like the power couple of the evening.

Rita looked impeccable as she donned a corset top that left little to the imagination, paired with a fitted flowy skirt.
The international pop star showed off her incredibly toned abs in the ensemble and added to the look with a chunky necklace and bracelets.
Speaking of her new album, Rita likened it to a “diary,” suggesting it would be her most personal gift to fans to date, as she named it after her husband.
She said, “This album really means a lot to me. It’s like my diary of the past few years. It’s my sound and it just feels so true to me and who I am now.’
