Rita Ora shared a look at her latest career turn on Thursday when she unveiled her costume for Disney’s upcoming Descendants sequel.

The 33-year-old singer and actress dazzled in an over-the-top blood-red dress as part of her role as Queen of Hearts in the musical TV film Descendants: The Rise Of Red.

In the film, which airs on Disney+ on July 12, Rita plays the mad royal from Lewis Carroll’s iconic novels Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland and Through The Looking-Glass.

The versatile star – who showed off her astonishingly fit physique just days earlier – plays the evil mother of the new film’s title character, Red.

Rita was almost completely covered in her dark red costume, which featured a slim bodice and a bust covered in sheer red lace, leaving most of her chest and shoulders visible.

Rita’s royal dress consisted of a voluminous satin gown that rose three feet above her slender figure.

The costume included striking round fins covered in ruffles that rose from her shoulders, completing the illusion of a large red heart.

The hitmaker’s arms were covered in sheer red lace decorated with beads and sequins, and one of her hands had long finger gloves covered in sparkling red stones.

Rita wore a paneled neck cuff from which a large red, heart-shaped pendant dangled, and she swapped her natural hair for a long, straight wig in the same shade of red as the rest of her look.

She completed the fabulous look with a large red crown adorned with more costume jewelry.

Rita stared sternly into the camera with her arms outstretched against a black background decorated with falling roses in one photo, but in other photos she looked more relaxed and casual.

In another photo, she wore cool red-tinted, heart-shaped glasses while backstage, and in others she grinned at the camera as she relaxed in a striped armchair.

The singer makes her debut in the long-running Descendants series, which began with the 2015 Disney Channel original movie.

The films feature the children of villains from classic Disney films as they rebel against their parents’ evil ways.

In The Rise Of Red, Rita plays the mother of one of the main characters in the film.
