She regularly shares her grueling gym workouts with fans on Instagram.

In the lengthy caption alongside the post, she wrote, “For the past year I’ve been on a journey to really connect my mind and body. I spend a lot of my time feeling physically strong (working on my form – posture – strength)….

“I’m always a work in progress, but on the other hand, happiness comes from the love I have for what I do – freezing in the desert because you all wanted more image to praise you, check, the voice that some coaches incredible vocalists…

“Making time for myself to work out and drink a little and take the ones I love so they too can experience the world, let’s keep praising and dancing as we try to do this thing called life…

“A second video coming soon…swipe to see a sneak peek of me dancing in literally freezing wind in the middle of nowhere.”

Rita previously told Shape magazine that she likes to stay fit by doing circuit training.

“I usually train for an hour or two, depending on how much time I have. I do three circuits and repeat that three times. I mainly focus on my thighs and my butt, so I do a lot of squats and weightlifting,” she explained.

She recently arrived in Sydney with her New Zealand filmmaker husband Taika Waititi. The couple tied the knot over the summer, with Rita revealing she didn’t want “special attention” that day.

She told Glamor magazine, “Some women like to feel that special attention that day. And everyone is different. And for me – I think with my job, it’s all… it’s very attention-driven – I wanted to keep it private because my life and my career aren’t.”
