Rita co-founded TYPEBEA together with Australian hair expert Anna Lahey, 35, known for her hair supplement Vida Glow.

TYPEBEA products include your standard shampoo and conditioner, but also ‘overnight boosting peptide’ and ‘hydra-gloss treatment’.

She announced the hairline on April 2 and confirmed the launch date on Thursday, April 7.

Rita revealed that the hairline was three years in the making when she finally revealed it to her fans.

She wrote on Instagram at the time: ‘I’m so excited to finally announce my huge passion, @TYPEBEA, high-quality hair care for all hair types that I created together with @anna.lahey.

‘The relationship we have with our hair is so personal. For me it is a big part of my identity, creativity and self-confidence. Throughout my career, I’ve had almost every hair color and style.

‘My hair has been bleached, I’ve had extensions, I’ve cut it short. But now I can say that my hair is the healthiest it has ever been. I can’t wait to share this with you!’

She is only the latest singer to launch a hair care line after Beyoncé recently introduced Cécred.
