Rita Ora and husband Taika Waititi cuddle up to model Madeleine Holtznagel as they dine at her beau Justin Hemmes’ new restaurant

British pop star Rita Ora and her New Zealand husband, director Taika Waititi, were in good company on Friday evening as they went out for dinner in Sydney.

The couple joined friends for dinner at Justin Hemmes’ latest Sydney dining spot, Good Luck.

Rita, 33, kept it casual in a simple white T-shirt paired with jeans.

Oscar-winning filmmaker Taika, 48, opted for a similarly casual ensemble with a white top, white shoes and stylish olive trousers.

The pair dined with Booby Tape co-founder Bianca Roccisano and Hemmes’ model girlfriend Madeleine Holtznagel.

Madeline, 27, and Justin, 51, quietly started seeing each other in 2019, a year after he made his debut on the Financial Review Rich List with an estimated net worth of $951 million.

The Totti founder’s latest venture is the super-trendy Good Luck Restaurant Lounge in Sydney’s CBD, serving a mix of Italian and Japanese food.

Meanwhile, Rita is launching her new hair care line in Australia in collaboration with Anna Lahey from Vida Glow.

The brand is said to be the solution to the challenges Rita has faced throughout her hair journey, particularly in undoing years of damage from overuse of heat and styling during her music career.

She said in a statement: “I wanted to find and build a solution to a beauty problem that myself and my community really struggle with.”

Rita often visits Australia thanks to her role as a judge on The Voice Australia.

She also recently spent time in New Zealand with Taika and her sister Elena Ora as they enjoyed a getaway in the mountains.

Rita and Taika – who shares two daughters with his ex Chelsea Winstanley – secretly married in August 2022 in a low-key ceremony.
