Party animals were seen staggering through the streets of Leeds, Newcastle and Birmingham as they enjoyed the Easter holidays.
As wine, beer and spirits flowed in busy pubs, punters, many in costume, danced and drank the night away as they brought in the British Summer Times in style.
The shorter bedtime did not stop young people from staying out until the early hours of Sunday morning before hitting the kebab shops.
Some appeared to have had one drink too many when they were picked up from the floor, had a fight in the street or were verbally abused by police officers

Yesterday, Brits made the most of the Easter Saturday sunshine in Leeds as they dressed up for the infamous Otley Run.
Some were seen dressing up, while others wore skimpy outfits to go on a pub crawl with their friends.
Easter bunnies, sailor girls and cricket boys were pictured walking the massive route of 17 locations.
Photos also show some people falling to the ground smiling during the drunken mid-afternoon session.
The historic pub crawl starts at Woodies pub in Far Headingley and ends at The Dry Dock on the edge of the city centre.
The challenge is to have a drink in each of the 17 pubs along the way.
Revelers also hit the town on Friday evening as they kicked off the four-day weekend.

Fortunately, the rain held off and the revelers danced the night away in skimpy outfits despite the strong wind.

Highs of 16 degrees Celsius are forecast in central and southern parts of England and 15 degrees Celsius in the north-west of England.
