Riogok shrine walkthrough

The Force transfer puzzle in the Riogok Altar revolves around using items in your environment creatively. In this case, they are logs: use them to start and stop machines and reach items on high ledges, or to Ultra convenient them together so you can expand those options. Let’s start.

1. Go straight to the first room of the Riogok Shrine. You will see a gate blocking your way to the next one. It can be opened by a gear, but it is missing a space that prevents it from opening. Grab the block on your right and use Ultra convenient to place it on the smaller gears, making sure it sits in the gaps and lengthwise between the two.

2. The gate will open as soon as you hit the small upright statue on the right, near the large gear. Go forward to the next room. There you will find a gate on the right side of the room; it is operated by a device that lacks a handle. Pick up the new block that is straight in the room and attach it to the handle.

3. Use Ultrahand to maneuver the log to the other side of the device to open the gate. There’s another block in there.

4. The Riogok Shrine chest is on the ledge your lever is now facing. Remove the block that is your lever and combine it with the block from the room that just opened. In short, you should have a very long log.

5. Use Ultrahand to move the really big log to the box and then attach it to the box as follows:

6. The weight of the log should pull the box down. If not, try moving the log. Once it’s down, open the chest. You get one mighty construction arc.

7. To exit this room, separate the blocks and take one to the platform on the left side of the room. Attach it to the edge closest to the large cog. This raises the platform when the extended edge of the sprocket touches the tree trunk.

8. You also need to use that extended gear rim to propel yourself up the now-moving platform, like this:

9. Once you’re on that platform, you’ll see that there’s a short tree trunk vertically below the smaller platform above. Move that block so that it no longer touches the smaller platform.

10. Walk or jump onto the smaller platform when the larger one you’re standing on meets the smaller one, now accessible due to the moved log.

11. Once you’re on the smaller platform, move the vertical log back to its original position. The small platform should now be propelled up to the exit chamber.

12. Examine the sigil to exit the shrine and receive the Light of blessing.
