Rio Ferdinand has revealed in a slick promotional video that he has undergone a hair and beard transplant at a Turkish clinic.
The England and Manchester United legend visited Dr. Cinik Hospital in Istanbul.
In the social media video shared by Dr. Cinik has been released, says 45-year-old Ferdinand, who is now a popular TV pundit on TNT Sports: 'I'm here to get my beard taken care of, I have a few holes, a few from plasters.
'Have my hair transplant done. I can't wait to get it done. Listen, if you're ever thinking about getting yours done, this is the place to be.”
The video shows Ferdinand entering the clinic in sunglasses, greeting doctor Muhammet Emrah Cinik and undergoing the different stages of the hair replacement treatment.

At the end, he signs a Manchester United shirt to complement similar memorabilia given by other footballers who have visited the clinic.
One shot shows Ferdinand admiring a collection of signed shirts, including those of Liverpool, Marseille, Brazil and Croatia.
The video was released on Monday, but it is not clear exactly when Ferdinand visited. He was part of TNT's expert team for June's Champions League final in Istanbul.
Their website states that Ryan Babel and Bacary Sagna have also been there for hair transplants, while David Trezeguet and Diego Lugano have been there for dental work.
Ferdinand has two children – son Cree and daughter Shae – with wife Kate, 32.
He had three children – Lorenz, Tate and Tia – with his first wife Rebecca Ellison before she died of breast cancer in 2015 at the age of 34.
Ferdinand's former England and United teammate Wayne Rooney underwent a hair transplant in 2011 and again in 2013.
He said at the time of his first: 'I went bald when I was 25, why not. I am happy with the result.'
In 2021, Ferdinand revealed he used brown dye to cover the grays in his facial hair, but claimed he wasn't “ashamed” of the aging process.

He told The Mid Point podcast with Gabby Logan: “I dye my beard sometimes; I'm getting gray hairs there. I paint it. I think it looks better.
'I'm not ashamed of having gray hair, it doesn't matter to me, but it looks better when it's all one colour.
“If it all turned gray, the whole beard turned gray, I'd just let it go. But it's like a patchwork quilt. I would like it, that distinguished look, if it was all gray I wouldn't care. But it's a patchwork business, I'm like a Dalmatian, I don't like it.'
