Last month, Keough said her and her grandmother Priscilla Presley’s relationship experienced “a bit of turmoil” as they argued over Lisa Marie Presley’s will.
The actress, 34, was left devastated by the death of her mother at the age of 54 in January and continued to battle her grandmother Priscilla, 78, after contesting her daughter’s will – challenging a 2016 amendment that left her as co-trustee and appointed Keough and her brother Benjamin. , who has now passed away.

Riley said in a cover interview with Vanity Fair magazine that their relationship is now “happy,” but admitted that Lisa Marie’s death caused “a lot of chaos” in the family.
When asked about the problem, she said, “I’m trying to think of a way to answer it that isn’t a 20-minute conversation.
‘There was some unrest, but now everything is back to the way it was. “Anything that suggests otherwise in the press makes me sad because at the end of the day, all Priscilla wants is to love and protect Graceland, the Presley family and the legacy.”
Riley added that “things with Grandma will be happy” now that “there’s clarity,” noting that she and Priscilla had “never not been happy.”

Speaking about the fallout from Lisa Marie’s death, she added: ‘Everything felt like the carpet had been ripped out and the floor had melted from under us.
“Everyone was a bit panicky to understand how we were going to proceed, and it only took a minute to understand the details of the situation because it is complicated.
“We are a family, but there is also a big business side to our family.”
After a months-long dispute, Keough agreed to give her grandmother $1 million to become the sole trustee, as well as $400,000 to cover legal fees.
Although Lisa Marie’s cause of death was unknown at the time, it has since been revealed that she died of an intestinal obstruction.
Riley said, “I felt like I had a choice to either give up and let this event take me, or have the courage to work through it.
“I started trying to get through it and not get carried away with it.”
