The clip opened with the title of the movie coming into view, accompanied by the buzz of exciting music.

While the rest of the letters of ‘Wakanda Forever’ faded, all that remained was an ‘R’, a clear reference to the singer.

The date “10.28.22” appeared against a black screen, notifying fans of the release date. The caption had an emoji of eyes and the hashtag “#WakandaForever.”

According to Pitchforkthe longtime entertainer wrote the tune with music artist Tems, producer Ludwig Göransson and director Ryan Coogler.

A press release said the piece was created “as a tribute to the extraordinary life and legacy of Chadwick Boseman.”

The late Boseman shocked fans when he passed away in 2020, having kept his battle with colon cancer completely private.

He was the star of the first Black Panther movie, which stole the hearts of audiences in 2018.
