Rihanna exits restaurant Caviar Russe in head to toe look by Karl Lagerfeld ahead of Met Gala

Rihanna stuns in Karl Lagerfeld’s head-to-toe hairy look with huge matching hat as she leaves a restaurant for the Met Gala

Pregnant Rihanna made a bold fashion choice Saturday night as she dined at New York City’s acclaimed seven-time Michelin star restaurant Caviar Russe.

The Umbrella singer, 35, who is expecting her second child with partner A$AP Rocky, was dressed head-to-toe in Chanel, a nod to the theme of Monday’s Met Gala.

The theme of the 2023 Met Gala is Karl Lagerfeld: A Thing of Beauty, a tribute to the legendary German designer, who passed away in 2019 after leading the French fashion house Chanel since 1983.

The Don’t Stop the Music singer wore a white faux fur mini dress with a black short jacket with white trim in the same fabric.

Noah’s mom, who turns one on May 19, also wore white glasses with the Chanel logo on the lenses and a black and white faux fur top hat.

Rihanna is expected to be on the red carpet at Monday’s Met Gala and her Saturday night outfit all but guarantees that she will be.

The 2023 Met Gala will be the Diamonds singer’s 11th Met Gala.

The Barbadian singer first attended in 2007 when she was 19, in a demure and simple white dress with silver embellishments by designer Georges Chakra. The theme that year was Poiret: King of Fashion.

She attended her next Met Gala in 2009, when the theme was The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion. As an interpretation of the theme, she chose a black silk tuxedo with oversized puff sleeves.

Rihanna attended the prom in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2021 and even in 2022 when she was in her third trimester of pregnancy.

But it was her 2018 look for the theme Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination that will go down in history.

The singer of Pon De Replay co-hosted the event that year, wearing a bespoke silver beaded mini dress, cape and mitre by John Galliano in a perfect interpretation of the theme.

She was named one of the best dressed of the night and her look made Met Gala history.

The next step for Rihanna — in addition to the birth of her second child — is a starring role in the Smurf movie.

She surprised fans at CinemaCon Day in Las Vegas on Thursday to announce she will voice Smurfette in the upcoming movie.

“I tried to get the role of Papa Smurf, but I couldn’t,” she joked Variety.

Rihanna is also producing the film and writing and recording original songs for the film, which is expected to hit theaters in February 2025.
