Rihanna channels her inner tomboy in a gray hoodie and baggy jeans during night out in NYC

Rihanna showed off her personal style during a night out in New York City on Saturday.

The Diamonds singer, 36 – who recently kept a low profile while visiting a private dinner club in the Big Apple – was spotted walking down a busy sidewalk as she headed to a bar with close friends.

The star stayed warm in the cooler, drizzly weather in a gray hooded sweatshirt that was partially zipped up the front.

She also put on a pair of loose-fitting, faded jeans and a pair of tan boots.

A dark blue bandana was wrapped around the top of her head as her dark locks flowed naturally behind her.

The mother of two easily carried a small black bag in her right hand, holding a few items she would need during the light-hearted excursion.

Rihanna accessorized the look with chunky chains that added an eye-catching flair to the outfit, as well as a large ring on her left hand.

She opted for a minimal makeup look and applied a coat of mascara to her eyelashes and a darker, nude shade to her lips.

The artist was seen walking along a damp sidewalk before arriving at her destination for the evening.

The Stay hitmaker has been busy in New York, and a day earlier she made a fashionable appearance as she grabbed a bite to eat at a private dining club.

She turned heads in a cream-colored sequin skirt, gray shirt and black leather jacket.

As a finishing touch, the Fenty Beauty founder wore a pair of snakeskin heeled boots and carried a fluffy bag over her left shoulder.

Rihanna has previously opened up about her personal sense of style – and how it has changed since becoming a mother of two.

The singer shares sons RZA, two, and Riot Rose, one, with boyfriend and fellow music artist A$AP Rocky – whom she has been dating since 2020.

During an interview with People in October, she explained that she chooses to wear “anything cozy” when she’s with her two boys.

“Anything that’s stretchy, anything that’s easy to bend over and pick up my kids in, those are the things I’m looking for.”

Rihanna continued, “Things that don’t scratch me don’t scratch them. We have a lot of work to do in a day in the life of a mother.”

Earlier this week, the Barbadian-born star opened up about her biggest fashion regret from the early 2000s.

The topic came up in an interview shared by TikTok influencer Mystery Fashionist – aka Ajay Porter – on Monday.

“Oh my God, why do you all have to bring up old stuff?” she jokingly responded to the content creator.

The artist then revealed, “Maybe when I first started out and I wore baggy jeans with the panties out. What the hell was I thinking, man?’

Rihanna also discussed creating the trend of pairing sweatpants and high heels together. ‘I started that trend. I would never regret that. Especially now, as a mom, the best thing I can do for my pajamas is a heel.”

It comes after Jay-Z was recently accused of raping a 13-year-old girl with Diddy in September 2000.
