In the resurfaced clip, the 35-year-old singer is shocked when two police officers show up to take her away, while the buskers claim she stole $100 of their earnings.
During the episode, Rihanna and her friend are seen strolling down the street when they stop to listen to two children singing outside a store.
Her friend reaches into her pocket and gives the artists $5, but later reveals that she accidentally gave them $100.

MTV’s former hidden camera show Punk’d, created and previously hosted by Ashton Kutcher, first aired the episode in 2006, with the network re-sharing the scene on social media on Tuesday.
Rhianna explains to the children that they made a mistake, but as she exchanges the $100 bill for a $5 bill, they accuse her of theft.
After hearing the commotion, the store owner comes outside and signals a passing police car.
In an attempt to defuse the situation, the singer gives the children another $15 before offering a copy of her album to street performers.
The police threaten to put Rhianna in the back of their car and are asked if she wants to ‘spend a night in jail’ before host Ashton appears.
Famous for pulling elaborate tricks on celebrities, Punk’d was created by the original prankster himself, Ashton, and originally ran from 2003 to 2007.
The hidden camera show made a brief revival after a 2012 reboot on BET hosted by King Bach and DeStorm Power.
Over the previous nine seasons, Kutcher and his co-hosts managed to punk dozens of unsuspecting celebrities, such as Justin Timberlake, Hugh Jackman, Drake, Zac Efron, Lindsay Lohan, Elijah Wood and Kanye West.
The Timberlake gag, the show’s very first broadcast in which the singer comes home to find government agents seizing his home and belongings for unpaid taxes, is still considered one of the best moments in the show’s archives and was mentioned in Time Magazine’s top three epic moments in reality TV history.

In 2019, the show’s former host Ashton announced on Twitter that he is not involved in the Punk’d reboot.
His announcement comes weeks after MTV revealed they would be bringing the show back to a streaming platform.
He announced to his 18 million Twitter followers: “I have nothing to do with the new punk situation. I hope they do well.’
