The unusual name of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s second son has been revealed a month after the singer gave birth.
The Diamonds hitmaker, 35, and the rapper, 34, have named their son Riot Rose Mayers, according to The blast.
The name could be a nod to A$AP’s recent song ‘Riot’ from earlier this year, which featured Pharrell Williams.
According to the birth certificate obtained by the publication, Riot was born on August 1, 2023 at 7:41 a.m. at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
The couple opted to stick with their naming tradition and used yet another name beginning with an ‘R’ after naming their first son, born in May 2022, RZA Athelston Mayers.

Rihanna’s gynecologist is also listed as Thai Aliabadi, who has famously collaborated with Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner on appearances on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The doctor also helped deliver Al Pacino, 83, and friend Noor Alfallah’s son, Roman, 29.
It remains to be seen when the couple decides to share photos of their new bundle of joy.

According to PeopleIt seems that the businesswoman and her rapper boyfriend have no plans for other children.
A source told the publication, “Rihanna feels her family is now complete,” adding, “It’s something she’s always wanted.”
The Barbados-born superstar previously opened up about motherhood in an interview with British Vogue in March.
“Having a child honestly unlocks a different side of life where you’re now in the matrix with the people who’ve already had kids,” she said, adding, “You get a different respect for moms and dads .’
