A young Australian claims she woke up mid-ride to discover her driver performing a sex act in the car.
Kayela Nasalio, 20, and two of her friends ordered a DiDi house at a nightclub in King Street, Melbourne, at about 7.15am on Sunday.
At some point during the 40-minute drive, her friend saw what the driver was supposedly doing and started recording from the backseat.
However, she did not wake her friends for fear that they would be thrown out of the car.
‘The driver touched himself while looking at me… Absolutely disgusting. It’s terrible. It is wrong in so many ways,” Ms. Nasalio said 7News.
‘I would have hit him. I honestly would have kicked him out of his own car. Go to hell, honestly. I honestly wish him the worst. I don’t think I could ever forgive him.
‘I’ll never get into a DiDi again.’
Detectives from Victoria’s Sexual Crimes Unit arrested the driver on Friday.

DiDi reportedly suspended the driver while they conducted an internal investigation into the repot before banning him from the platform.
A spokesperson said the driver had been reported to Safe Transport Victoria.
“The behavior displayed was inappropriate and contrary to the values and standards of the platform,” they said.
It comes amid growing calls to make security cameras mandatory in car-sharing cabs, but there is no legal requirement for drivers to do so.
