Singer Ricki-Lee Coulter marks an important milestone in her radio career.

The Nova radio host has had a huge broadcast win, with her afternoon drive show coming first in the latest radio rankings.

Ricki-Lee, 37, regularly filled in on the Kate, Tim and Joel show that aired every weekday from 4 to 6 p.m.

However, in March former Home And Away star Kate Ritchie shocked fans when she revealed she would be stepping down from the show.

However, her move was a positive for Ricki-Lee as she earned a regular spot on the show, which is now called Ricki-Lee, Tim and Joel.

She co-hosts the afternoon show with established presenters Joel Creasey and Tim Blackwell.

The change proved successful for Nova as the national auto show remains the number one in the country.

Ricki-Lee took to Instagram on Tuesday night and shared the exciting news with her 300,000 followers.

Ricki-Lee, 37, regularly filled in on the Kate, Tim and Joel show that aired every weekday from 4 to 6 p.m.

‘Thank you Australia for making us your #1 Drive Show!’ she wrote.

“Celebrating today with my boys and our great team.”

Friends and followers of the radio host and singer jumped to the comments to congratulate her on the great news.

Stylist Natalia De Martin commented, “Congratulations guys.”

While TV presenter Rob Mills said ‘Congratulations mate’.

And one fan wrote, “Yayyyy I made the switch when you filled in. You three are great together.”

In an Instagram post, she wrote, “It was a really hard decision because I’ve been working since I was an eight year old and I think I thrive by having a schedule every day.

“I’m not good at just sitting by myself.

“I’ve done so many great things this year, but it was just time to have faith and say, ‘This is what I need.'”
