The seventh edition of Rick And Morty is just weeks away, after the release date for the new season was announced.
The Adult Swim show’s Twitter account broke the news on Aug. 24 that the show will return on Oct. 15.
It’s hoping for a return to normalcy after star and co-creator Justin Roiland was charged, but later acquitted, of domestic violence charges.
Rick And Morty’s announcement read, “We ride together. We die together. We are buried together in the backyard. Season 7 of Rick and Morty is coming to @AdultSwim 10/15 #rickandmorty.”
The post was accompanied by a poster promoting the new season, featuring title characters Rick and Morty, accompanied by the latter’s sister Summer.

It has yet to be revealed who will voice the titular cartoons Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith, with Roiland previously filling both roles.
The sitcom co-creator was dropped by Adult Swim in January over domestic violence allegations, announcing that his voice roles would be recast.
The 42-year-old was acquitted in March and denounced the ‘false’ claims.
He tweeted: “I always knew these claims were false – and I never doubted that this day would come.
“I am grateful that this case has been dropped, but at the same time I am still deeply shocked by the terrible lies that have been reported about me during this trial.”
However, the impact was already felt on his involvement in Rick And Morty, with Dan Harmon now the sole showrunner.
However, Roiland will still be credited as a co-creator when the show returns on Max in October.
