Richmond’s Jayden Short is engaged to Maddy Bekiaris
Footy star Jayden Short is engaged to his high school sweetheart Maddy Bekiaris.
The 27-year-old midfielder from Richmond announced the happy news on Instagram on Tuesday after popping the question earlier this week in Cinque Terre, Italy.
The couple couldn’t hide their joy as they radiantly showed off the wraparound six-diamond ring on a beach.
The lovebirds captioned the image: “CIAO FIANCEE!!” and were soon flooded with well-wishers.
“Congratulations again beautiful people,” Tayla Broad wrote, along with several love heart emojis, before adding, “Ps I could stare at that ring all day.”

Jayden and Maddy have known each other for more than ten years and were friends in 2012.
