Richmond premiership hero Bachar Houli has been airlifted to a hospital in Melbourne after a serious car crash near Canberra.
Reports indicate that the ex-AFL star suffered a broken pelvis and multiple fractures during a fateful camping trip.
The accident happened when the ute with Houli and a friend overturned, according to the Announce sun.
The former three-time Premiership star retired in 2021 after an illustrious career spanning 232 games, including 26 with Essendon and 206 with Richmond.

Currently, Houli is in a stable condition while being cared for at the hospital.
Despite being aware of the incident, the Richmond Football Club was unable to provide any additional information on Sunday night.
“He has been airlifted to a hospital in Melbourne following a car crash while camping for a long weekend,” said Channel 7 AFL reporter Mitch Cleary.
“Those close to him are telling me tonight that his condition is stable, so that’s good news.
Multiple broken bones. He was in a car accident with one other passenger, at least one passenger.
“He was airlifted to Canberra, he was transferred to Melbourne.
“Disturbing night for the football club in Richmond, but we can assure you, I have spoken to people around him, that his condition is stable.”
The incident took place on the same day that Richmond star Marlion Pickett was arrested in Perth on alleged charges of aggravated burglary, robbery and criminal damage.
