Richard Wilkins, 70, and his younger girlfriend Mia Hawkswell, 47, put on a loved-up display at Sydney Airport… as Today show star is noticeably absent from Nine Olympic reporting team in Paris
Richard Wilkins and his girlfriend, celebrity make-up artist Mia Hawkswell, looked completely in love as they arrived at Sydney airport on Friday.
The 70-year-old Channel Nine presenter and his younger partner, 47, were spotted holding hands as they walked through the arrivals hall of the busy terminal.
Richard, who is apparently not part of the Today Show team currently in Paris covering the Olympics, wore a smart-casual look in an open black jacket paired with jeans.
He completed his look with black shoes, stylish sunglasses and a brown tote bag.
The New Zealand-born star added a pop of colour to his look with a patterned scarf.
His brown hair was freshly styled and he seemed in good spirits as he gazed lovingly into his partner’s eyes as they walked through the busy airport.
Richard’s gorgeous partner Mia rocked a sleek, all-black look with a modern twist, pairing it with a silk top and mini skirt.
She completed her striking look with linen stockings and futuristic sunglasses.

Meanwhile, Australians have been quick to criticise Channel Nine’s coverage of the Paris Olympics, furious with presenter Karl Stefanovic – if they were able to watch at all.
Thousands of Australians woke up in the middle of the night to watch the opening of the Olympic Games in Paris and had to wait for hours until the Australians finally emerged. They are the host country of 2032 and according to Olympic protocol they appeared as the third country.
However, they were not impressed with Nine’s handling of the opening ceremony, and in particular Stefanovic’s commentary.

They accused him of ignoring important and entertaining parts of the ceremony, with many calling on him to keep his mouth shut on social media.
The opening ceremony was also plagued by bad weather and rain, which made the arrival of the athletes look less than spectacular.
But viewers didn’t like being constantly reminded of this during the broadcast.
