Chloe Madeley is going on holiday with her estranged husband James Haskell, her father Richard has revealed.

The couple, who share two-year-old Bodhi, confirmed they had parted ways in a joint statement released in October last year after tying the knot in 2018.

But Richard, 68, has revealed that Chloe, 37, and James, 39, are in a ‘very happy uncoupling’ despite the end of their marriage and said he has remained on friendly terms with his former son-in-law.

He told it The sun: ‘Chloe is very happy, she and James go to France together, they have a very happy uncoupling.

‘It’s a very civil relationship. We see James a lot, he is often at home, with or without Chloe.’

‘I have a drink with him every now and then. It’s all good. It’s a very civilized divorce. Co-parenting is going very well.’

It comes after Chloe opened up about the difficulties of dealing with co-parenting with her ex-husband James Haskell.

She announced last month Closer magazine that they do not always agree on parenting styles and get into arguments over their different opinions.

She admitted, “We’ve always found a way to do it, but it’s not always great. We sometimes have a hard time with that.

‘We still argue. There is no denying that and it will probably remain that way forever.”

However, Chloe insisted that no matter how difficult things may get between them, they have agreed not to weaponize Bodhi or use her as a bargaining tool.

And despite their “awkward” episodes, she added that there are days when they can be “very good friends.”

Chloe revealed in January that the former rugby player, 39, was finally moving out.

‘We had no intention of releasing a statement at the time – especially while the television show was airing – but the continued speculation about our marriage has unfortunately forced our hand.

“Other than this statement, we will not speak publicly about this matter and would like to request privacy at this time.

‘Our sole focus now is on our beautiful daughter. We will continue to co-parent with nothing but love.”

She First led to split speculation earlier that fall, after Chloe was spotted without her wedding ring while partying with friends – shortly after James was depicted talking to a mysterious blonde outside a nightclub in London.

In May, Chloe opened up about how her split from her estranged husband was “bloody awful” as she gave insight into the breakdown of their relationship.

She admitted that the couple split because they both wanted their relationship to “stop being terrible” and “miserable.”

The couple still live together in their north London home are often seen with Bodhi as they try to make the breakup as amicable as possible for their little girl.

But despite their friendliness leading some fans to believe they would get back together, Chloe insisted they had both put their marriages behind them.

She added that she expects the former England player to find someone soon.

She said: “It will probably happen to James long before it happens to me, if it hasn’t already. I’m waiting for the conversation to happen at some point.”
