The Venice Film Festival has seen the premieres of some of the world’s best films.
Richard Gere, however, was only interested in what happened outside the theater as he gazed in admiration at his wife Alejandra Silva on the red carpet on Sunday.
The 75-year-old Hollywood star appeared to be overwhelmed by his 41-year-old wife’s beauty and bowed to her during the premiere of Brad Pitt and George Clooney’s new AppleTV+ film, Wolfs.
He couldn’t resist picking Alejandra up for a kiss as they cuddled up together.
However, Richard enjoyed himself not only with his wife, but also with his son Homer. Together they posed for a number of nice snapshots on the red carpet.

However, Richard enjoyed himself not only with his wife, but also with his son Homer. The couple posed together for a series of cute snaps on the red carpet.
The actor and his 24-year-old son looked equally handsome as they walked the red carpet at the Filming Italy Venice Award event.
Richard opted for a black tuxedo, white shirt and black bow tie, with Homer matching his outfit.
Alejandra, who married the star in 2018, sparkled in a white Grecian-style gown with a thigh-length slit.
She later donned a semi-sheer mesh dress with navy floral details when the trio attended the amfAR gala.
The film icon and Alejandra married after two years of dating and later had two sons: Alexander, five, and James, four.
Richard shares Homer with his ex-wife and model Carey Lowell and decided to name him after his grandfathers and the Tibetan name “Jigme”, which is his middle name.
He and Carey married in 2002, but separated in 2013 after 11 years of marriage.
The gala, which took place during the Venice Film Festival, was presented by the Red Sea International Film Festival.

Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice opened the Venice Film Festival on August 28.
The 81st Venice International Film Festival is organized by La Biennale di Venezia and will take place at the Lido di Venezia from August 28 to September 7, 2024.
In addition to the cast of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, a number of other A-list stars are expected to visit Venice in the coming days.
George Clooney is already in town, along with wife Amal, for the premiere of his highly anticipated new film Wolfs, the Jon Watts-directed heist thriller that reunites him with Oceans 11 co-star Brad Pitt.
Both George and Brad attended the screening on September 1.
Brad’s ex-wife Angelina Jolie will also be in Venice to promote the film Maria, in which she plays opera legend Maria Callas.
Sources indicate that the schedule has been adjusted so that the feuding couple, who are still embroiled in legal proceedings eight years after their split, cannot be present at the film festival at the same time.

Another major screening is Joker: Folie à Deux on September 4. The sequel’s premiere will welcome stars Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga to the red carpet in Venice.
Daniel Craig will also be at the festival to promote his film Queer, which premieres on September 3.
Venice regulars Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton are in town for Pedro Almodóvar’s English-language debut The Room Next Door, while Nicole Kidman screens her erotic thriller Babygirl on August 30.
Pupi Avati’s The American Backyard will close the festival on September 7.
