Richard Armitage flashes his manhood in racy new Netflix show Obsession

Richard Armitage left little to the imagination when he bared everything for a nude scene in the Netflix series Obsession.

The actor, 51, stars as William on the show, a surgeon who embarks on an affair with his son’s fiancée Anna (Charlie Murphy).

Richard goes full-on in the erotic thriller in which his character Will and Anna engage in an illicit affair behind the back of his son Jay.

Will gradually becomes obsessed with Anna over the course of the show, with the pair engaging in a BDSM-fuelled relationship.

In a racy scene, Anna tells Will that she’s in complete control when they’re around family or in public, but he can take charge when they’re alone.

“Kneel, and I will give myself to you,” she tells him in one scene.

In another kinky scene, Will checks himself into the same hotel room where Anna and his son Jay stayed the previous night and bulges a pillow that smells like her.

The Netflix thriller is a new adaptation of the erotic novel Damage, which was made into a hit movie in 1992 starring Jeremy Irons and Juliette Binoche, with critics calling it the “sexist thing on TV this year.”

In an interview with Weekend Magazine, Richard admitted that he has no intention of rewatching the series.

He said, ‘I won’t look. I don’t like watching most of the things I’ve done and this one was pretty intense… intense in a brilliant way. I am left with a happy memory of what we did.’

The star also joked that he didn’t expect to do nude scenes at his age, adding, “Yeah, it’s ironic I thought once I turned 50 I wouldn’t have to take my shirt off.

“When I said that to the producers of Obsession, they said, ‘We don’t just want the shirt off… we want it all off!’ But this story is about sexual psychology, a trap that people get caught up in. I found it interesting, an exploration of psychology through physical vocabulary.’

Obsession is a four-party series and is now available to watch on Netflix.
