Rich kid gets in standoff with cops aboard his yacht after ‘terrorizing restaurants and neighbors’ in Florida
A wealthy teenage influencer who threatened his neighbors in the Florida Keys had the tables turned when police filmed a damning video of his antisocial behavior.
Luis Barrios, 18, has 43,000 followers on Instagram, where he documents his glamorous lifestyle of fast cars, fast boats and international travel.
But he was razed by Florida police who arrested him on his father’s yacht after he terrorized restaurant staff, bragged about his family’s wealth and threatened to feed police officers to alligators.
“No one cares about your TikTok, no one cares,” someone told him. “You’re a child, get off the boat.”
Police were called by staff at Sunset Grille in Marathon when a drunken Barrios and his young friends began cursing loudly and causing a disturbance.
Police finally caught up with Luis Barrios as he tried to dock his yacht at his Keys home
He was handcuffed after refusing to get off the boat and demanding that officers “call my dad.”
Police arrived to find the perpetrators had fled on Barrios’ yacht, but a manager was left scratching his head after allegedly leaving a threatening message on his phone.
“It’s so stupid,” he told the officers. “Why would you call your real number?”
Police went to one of the family homes near the archipelago and found no one except the teenager’s neighbors, who were not surprised by his latest antics.
“Dad took the car and that’s why he stole the boat,” someone told police. ‘Something has to be done about that child.
“The father is a decent, hard-working man who built what he built through hard work, but the boy is a spoiled brat.”
“It sounds like he’s doing it for attention,” another neighbor added. “Because he’s not a very likable guy and it sounds like he’s trying to buy their friendship.”
Officers tell them that Barrios has a string of previous arrests and that about 20 other neighbors have filed complaints.
“He has been a thorn in our side for the past two months,” one said.
The police bodycam video, uploaded to YouTube, records officers hearing screams from behind the houses where they see Barrios trying to dock at his home.
He quickly turns back, but returns minutes later with three of his friends still on board.
He refuses to get off the boat and demands that the officers “call my father.”

He showed no remorse at the police station after calling officers ‘pigs’ and threatening to feed them to alligators
“I have anxiety because of this, I have been diagnosed with paranoia,” he barks.
“Stop talking on camera, man, no one cares,” someone tells him.
“Everyone in this neighborhood has called on you, everyone.
‘You did this to yourself. You ran from the police when they got here.”
“I’ll fucking spit in your face,” he tells an officer while he’s handcuffed.
“Oh threat to law enforcement? You just got another charge, good job,” the officer snaps back.
“I’m a good boy, I didn’t hurt anyone,” Barrios insists as he marches away, before calling an officer a “pig.”
And he appeared to let his social media profile go to his head as his stuffed neighbors filled the street to watch him being taken away
“Watching a teenager 24 hours a day,” he growled. ‘Everything on video. Look, all my neighbors are recording you!’
After being booked into the station, he brags that his father is going to buy him a new boat “tomorrow,” adding, “We have a lot of money.” My daddy is a damn rich nigger.
“You’re the type of person I’d feed to alligators in the Everglades. I hope an alligator eats you.”
“The father is a decent, hard-working man who built what he built through hard work,” a neighbor told police, “but the boy is a spoiled brat.”
The YouTube video has overshadowed Barrios’ social media profile after being viewed 225,000 times.
‘Without daddy’s money he’d be homeless. Perfect example of an idiot who has never said no,” one viewer wrote.
‘What a filthy, ignorant toddler. It’s clear he’s out of control and on his way to prison. His poor parents.’
Barrios has been charged with trespassing, second-degree disorderly conduct and attempting to elude a law enforcement officer by ship.
